hi
i have an unlocked iphone 3g(firmware 2.2) bought from vodafone india. im using an etisalat sim here in dubai. i want to jailbreak the phone but i want to know if i jailbreak will it get sim locked. because when i bought it from india the guy at the shop told me that if it gets updated and locked by mistake all i have to do to unlock is restore it to a lower version and it wont get locked. is that true?  i really dont want to spoil my iphone cause it cost me a fortune.. any help would be appreciated..
