I used pwnage tool 2.0.1 with an iPhone 3G using a custom firmware, the phone started fine, jailbreak, cydia everything showed up. However, I couldnt get any signal, only Wifi, nothing else. Tried it again, rebuilt the custom firmware and same problem... What could it be?

Its very SIMPLE!

Make a new custom firmware and DO NOT click activate!

Uncheck it so you have to activate with iTunes.

If you used simple mode then when pwnagetool asks if your a legitimate user then click on "Yes".

Thats fixed now, however, now another problem comes.
iTunes detects the phone but it always comes up as a new phone, even though I already selected the restore from another phone, it restores it, BUT, when it comes back on, it still shows up as a new phone.

just got done pwn'ing a 3g 16gb and everything seems to have gone through fine. it was originally activated on att but the user wanted it unlocked for use on a local guam carrier. thing is... i'm not getting a signal. i did a search and the only thing i solution that was recommended was restoring to a custom build without activation. it didn't work as he is no longer a "legit at&t" customer so the phone was still locked.

he is now unlocked again with no signal...

any suggestions?

Hi everyone,

I have had the same problem i have a o2 sim card (on a monthly tarrif i have activated it on normal before i found out about jail braking) that i want to use and i jailbroke it yesterday and left it checked the guide say anything about it) and now im trying to re-do it but still having no luck.

Can anyone upload a .iwsp with it unactivated and everything added on?
