Hello all,
I have an MacBook Air with no rescue or install CD/DVD available. It is running on OS X 10.5.5 A few days ago a set a single admin password to prevent overly curious individuals to get in my machine. Unfortunately I walk away from it without writing the very simple PW somewhere and, of course, my brain decided that it was not important to remember this new PW! ![]() I tried a number of "single" user command lines (cmd+s -> mount -uw/ ...) All I managed to accomplish was to create a new admin used but my access to the stored data is not authorized. I still need to get the data from my original Admin user account. Anyone knows How I can access the data or "crack" the original Admin PW or change to PW without knowing it under OS x 10.5.5 as mentioned before. Thanks |
