Exclamation Pad Lock in Sys Prefs

hey guys, this has been bugging me for a while now. I do not alter much of my sys prefs, and after i have finished i always click on the lock to prevent further changes.

when i reboot my computer the lock always seems to come back as open... should it do this???

try this: under the Security prefpane, on the Generals tab, click the "require password to unlock each system preferences pane
