Default sound drivers needed

I need the sound drivers (and how to load them) for my acer aspire 4730Z laptop. I have snow leopard installed and working but I don't have sound nor do I have the touchpad working.

If anyone can point me in the right direction for these drivers it would be very much appreciated.

Thanks.

I tried that kext and it works. My sound is now good. But I just found out the 4500M video card is not supported or at least I cannot find any driver for it.

Have you tried using an efi string?
You can do that easily with osx86 tools

MB94,

I really have no clue what you mean. How would I go about this? And thanks much for trying to point me in the right direction.

Thanks.

have you got osx86 tools? the application?

If you open that up and click add efi strings then there is an option for GFX strings.

In that drop down list select your gpu. is it an nvidia gpu?
