Hi,

Seem to be having a problem spoofing the Mac address on the airport card. It has a mac however im trying to connect to my works network without changing the wifi card on the unit, as i cant be bothered to speak to the people needed to put the mac address on the server.

Trying;

sudo ifconfig en1 ether 00:00:00etc...
sudo ifconfig en1 lladdr 00:00:00etc...

Then when you go ifconfig the macs changed to what i want.

Go into system prefrences > network > Airport > Advanced ... It shows the cards original mac address.

An i still cant get connected to the company network, says timeout.

Is there any way to actually force the address to chance?
