It is not a 64-bit only system.
Snow Leopard runs on both 32-bit and 64-bit Intel Macs. As far as 64-bit not being as popular compared to 32-bit systems, most computers sold in the past few years have had full 64-bit support, however have simply been running a 32-bit operating system. The reason why 64-bit is unpopular is because of the fact that many hardware manufacturers are simply not bothering to write updated drivers that allow you to use their products with a 64-bit operating system. ~Adrian |

You know... Once up on a time there was a man called Bill Gates who said 640kb is more memory than anyone will ever need.
