I'm just curious as to whether anyone has tried to run Mail, Address Book, and iCal (i.e. Exchange enabled) from the Snow Leopard preview on 10.5? I know there are a series of reasons this might not work, but if it did...
If this works it might be simpler than finding and installing SL on my test system. Thanks in advance. |

The quick answer is "they don't work".
The long answer is also "they don't work" as Leopard lacks the libraries necessary to run the new apps. It is *possible* that one *could* copy over VERY LARGE portions of SnowLeopard over a Leopard installation to *make* these apps work, however doing so would probably introduce yourself directly to the speed and performance issues that currently exist right on Snow Leopard. |
