Who believes that Apple is starting to apply their iPhone ADC Pre-Release policies to their normal ADC subscriptions?

Just referring to the fact that it has been 4 months and there is still yet to be an updated Snow Leopard release, or anything else for that matter.

The whole point of ADC is to allow Pre-Release access to software to allow for compatibility testing *before* release, and that simply isn't happening any more.

That is a reason why I won't longer my ADC and will send a complainment letter to apple. Epic fail politics.

Works like a charm in Celeron D 478 pins (with kernel modified).

PowerPC going down, crap Celeron D going up.

Default snow compatible mobo, graphics card etc. ?

Hi all ,

Long time mac user but first time hackintosh builder. I'm doing some research and putting together my hardware list for the maiden voyage.
With 10.6 around the corner ( and beta's out now) I'd like to build a box that is likely to be compatible with the new OS and have not found a lot out there on this subject.

I go back an forth between pulling the trigger now and installing leopard - or waiting till 10.6s had been more fully tested on various hardware in the community.

If you have any knowledge - or informed opinions on this I would appreciate your thoughts.

Hardware I am considering - with alternatives. Nothing cast in stone or purchased yet.

Intel Core i7 920 Nehalem 2.66GHz

Gigabyte X58-UD5 or
EVGA E758-A1 3-Way SLI (x16/x16/x8) LGA 1366 Intel X58 ATX

PNY Nvidia 9500GT or
GIGABYTE GV-N98TOC-512I GeForce 9800 GT 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16

CORSAIR XMS3 6GB (3 x 2GB) 149.
western digital caviar black 100 1T

If this should be posted as a new thread or in another forum - just let me know.
Thanks - noam

I've been running 'Darwin 10 Aqua 402' (that's how Schiller pronounced it), ever since it turned up, on a second partition of my MBP.
It really is stable this one!
Only probs I've encountered so far are connected with some Adobe stuff like Acrobat Pro and Flash.
Rest is running real fine and yes, the 402 update has brought along a speedbump, indeed.

10A432 has been out for about a week now. It supposedly is the Gold release. Running fine here for days. It's fast!
