Hi all, need urgent help, have tried lots of suggestions on the internet on how to uninstall Kate from my iPhone 3G (firmware 2.2) with no success.

My dial pad was disabled and applications crashing. Dial pad is suddenly working again now but some applications still crash.

I really want to get rid of it to stop the problems ASAP.

I don't have WiFi so can't SSH into the phone that way. I've tried SSHing via iPhoneBrowser but can't work out where the files are.

I can't delete it from the home screen because there's no icon for it. It was installed using Installer if that helps..

I really don't want to have to format it but so far that seems like the only option

Kate use various paths on the iPhone, total removing and cleaning will not work unless you uninstall it trought Installer.app. If that not works, then you need to restore your iPhone in iTunes.

Don't forget to backup your sms messages, photo's, phonebook numbers etc.
