About a week or two ago i dropped my iPhone, no visible damage but i have had some REALLY bizarre behavior ever since then. Sometimes certain buttons on my keyboard will not respond, most often the o and the r, if i try to touch those particular letters it will pop up both letters on either side but will not register the letter i am trying to press. It gets stranger from here, to get it fixed i basically have to mash the keyboard for a variable amount of time and wait till it keeps vibrating (i have the key vibration plist stuff enabled) on its own, which it does for about a minute or so and then when its done ghost typing everything is back to normal. I have tried restoring and the issue still comes and goes. It comes at totally random intervals and sometimes can happen multiple times in a day and then other days not happen at all. My iPhone is long out of warranty and i really dont trust getting it taken apart by a third party to replace anything.
mainly i just want to know if anyone else has experienced this issue? I wouldn't understand it being a hardware issue since it comes and goes (although i obviously can't rule it out because my dumbass dropped the thing) If anyone has come across this issue have you found a solution? After googling around i've read about the sensitivity setting and dead spots issue but don't want to draw a parallel since the dead spot issue seems to stay around regardless while my issue comes and goes. The other dead spot issues also appear to be either limited to top middle or bottom while mine are scattered all over the place. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
edit: on an added note i can restore my phone and sync my phone but i cannot backup my phone, it says "could not back up the phone because the iphone was disconnected" or something like that. so i guess that does point to some kind of issue w/ the flex cable or something along those lines ...
