Default Logic Board swap

Hi,

I´ve found an old 3G which happens to be on 2.0 still with the old baseband so I want to put it into my main 3G (display is knackered on old one) so I´m guessing a logic board swap would be easiest right? I knwo I could just swap the displays but the back is also in a bad way so dont want to use the case....

I´ve done 3 or 4 display swaps which are no problem so has anyone done this and how hard is it?

I´ve found a step by step guide on iFixit but has anyone got any more pointers?

Cheers

Phil
