what is the best way to transfer a DVD to my 3.1 3G?
I have some musical concert DVDs that I would like to convert and transfer on my iPhone so I could watch them.
Would you guys happen to know the easiest way to do this? and, also, what would the best format I could transfer my .VOB files into? THANKS!!!

Yeah,handbrake is really cool.I have searched for some detail information about handbrake and found that it will now accept practically any type of video as a source.And it also offers total control over multiple audio tracks.And it is free..So I am surely going make a try on this.

Handbrake is PERFECT!!!! it even gets the chapters and everything right in place. THis question of mine has REALLY been answered!!!! THank God for Handbrake!!!!!!! I highly recommend it!

I still have a question thought. What is the exact perfect resolution for my 3G iPhone screen? because I noticed that handbrake converts the movies to something that is acsually smaller than my screen, and, in order to have it fit my screen I have to tap the video maximize button or however its called which results in me loosing the edges of my videos and dvd concerts....
Please help if you can, thanks!

There are lots of converters to use dvd in your iphone. Some are free and some will cost you money. Use google to choose the best one for you.

I have an other question, I have succesfully used handbrake in order to transfer a dvd to my iphone, but I didn't add the chapter names to the videos. Is there a way I could edit the files and add the chapter names now after I have encoded the dvd in an iphone readable format? of course, without having to do everything all over again.......
