Hello 2 everybody . I have a big problem with my 3g 16 gb iphone . I choosed "Erase Iphone" and after that he automatically updated to 3.1 and have my iphone locked . First time i took my iphone to a couple of services but they couldn't unlock it . I had some documentation and find out why isn't the unlock working , i have baseband 5.11.07 and bootloader 5.9 and i can't even downgrade to a lower baseband to unlock my last option is a x-sim will it work with my phone ?? thx

That's very weird. Erasing an iPhone never updated any of mines. Anyway, if you did had Cydia before, then I guess you may be able to downgrade it using Saurik's Sig server, assuming your ECID/SHSH keys are stored in there.

Lastly, there's always the official unlock, if your phone came from a country which does unlocks your phone -- with or without a fee.

i have the same model and same baseband and same problem. basically if you want to unlock your phone again your gonna have to jailbreak your 3.1 iphone and wait for the dev-team to release a newer version of ultrasn0w unlock tool. when you upgraded your software from 3.0 or 3.0.1 to the dreaded 3.1 it changed your baseband to 5.11.07. At this time all unlock tools do not work for this baseband. unless you get one of those rebel sims (i wouldnt) we just have to wait until the right tools are released. hope that helps
