He's talking about greenpois0n, which appears to be an iBoot exploit that exists in both the 3Gs and the 3rd gen iPod touch. This is in the process of being polished into a jailbreak for 3GS and 3rd gen touch only. Please note that this exploit was not discovered by the Dev Team. So unless they manage to find it independently and develop a jailbreak based on it, the first release of this jailbreak will come from http://www.greenpois0n.com

It is hard work to turn an exploit into a jailbreak, some exploits are easier to implement than others. Be patient, they have code execution and in combination with the already existing 24kpwn bootrom exploit, this will definitely be an untethered jailbreak on 3GS.
