Hi at all!
I have a big problem with an iPhone 3g made in USA(I live in Italy).
After many restore with firmware 2.1, 2.2, 2.2.1, i receive ever error 1002 in itunes, and after the reboot my phone can't send and receive calls and all network services are disable (No Wi-Fi, bluetooth..).When I relink my iphone in itunes it say the No sim valid for or verify if it is insert correctly. In addiction I'can't verify what is the firmware modem because it is blank!I have just jailbroken it and installed installer and cydia,but the problem persist.I have just search this problem in the forum,but I can't install openssh because Internet connection doesn't function (No wifi).I have download issh but itunes say that is impossible install application.
How can I solve it?

You know restoring an iPhone 3G with firmware 2.2.1 locks it, right? No unlock available.

I say that I have downgrade baseband from 2.30(firmware 2.2.1) to 2.28(firm 2.2),but i can't connect in ssh.I have installed Quicksnow that install Terminal and openssh,but if I connect with iphone Tunnel Suite I cant' login and it say in WinSCP Unknown host.
How can I downgrade baseband if ssh doesn't function?
Plz help me.

the baseband can't be downgraded on a 3G. If you played around trying it you might have screwed it.

If is it not possible how can I doing?

You can not! The baseband can not be downgraded on the iPhone 3G.

Let me resume: You have an iPhone 3G made in the US, right. You probably dont use the AT&T card with it.
The message you get from iTunes says: Use the original AT%T card that is activated.
If you dont have it but want to use the unlock this would work with the old baseband 02.28.... But you restored to firmware 2.2.1, so you got the new one which is NOT unlockable.
So you are stuck, cause you can NOT downgrade the baseband.
Apple wont help you with this, besides telling you to activate the iPhone with AT&T.

In itunes i dont'have the message at&t card not actived!..I can syncronize it corretctly in itunes!
I'm not sure that is a problem of the baseband because in modem firmware i have blank, and in settings have:
No WIFI in grey
Bluetooth non available
No signal
In addiction it continue to reboot each 2 minutes.
You confirm that is problem of baseband?
In this case is IMPOSSIBLE to repaire it?
