im having issues with an iphone 3g (fw 2.2.1) and the vodafone network. half the times i try to access the network using 3g or gprs, i'm unable to surf (connections time out!). If i perform an on/off sequence of airplane mode, it works for a while and then here we go again with the issues. I didnt notice this happen with 2.2. I contacted the vodafone support in italy and the first thing they suggested me to do was to disable wifi at all (they claim that this can generate issues while using 3g), which i did (but i dont think this is the problem :-)). And in fact here we go again. The last call with the call support i was informed that i was not the first one to have these issues and a firmware upgrade, when avaible, whould have fixed my problems. Im posting here just for knowing if i am the only one with these glitches with firmware 2.2.1. Im even considering that my phone is malfunctioning and needs to be replaced... Btw i did a full restore many times and they didnt fix my problems
