I have had my phone quickpwned for a couple of months, all was fine and dandy until the other day.
I repwned it, and since then; during the course of normal usage, the phone will reboot and get locked in recovery mode. Initially it occurred yesterday with the "Преве́д" error message. I finally got all of the BSD subsystem stuff, perl, etc. installed and reboot the phone to see if ntpd would sync the clock on reboot (my network is off), and *boom* no more iphone. This series of events begs two questions. First, is there a method by which I may take a snapshot of my device, so I can reflash it back to the "last known good" state? Secondly, how should I proceed in debugging this class of error? |

Figured out what was going on after repwning it springboard wasn't launching on boot due to a problemm with /etc/{,master.}passwd. I reran passwd after sshing in over the wifi and all was right with the world. As for the verbose booting one can use nvram to set boot-args it if the system is accessible.
