it happened to me too but i suddenly get it back when i try to restart my phone over and over again. Last time, when i try to control my Itunes using "remote" then suddenly i can't find any music in my phone(include podcast+movies) they just tell me to download it from itunes's store.
it can be fix by trying to restart the phone several time :9

i have the same problem! its due to Itunes 7.7.1
You need to downgrade itunes to 7.7 and then, just follow what i did. It works 100% After 12 hr or so of downgrading firmwares on iphone, erasing, reseting and sinking and rebooting nothing worked, but i figured that problem of no music and crashing appstore apps appears when: 1.Itunes was upgraded to 7.7.1 THE MAIN ISSUE 2.installing apps from appstore thru itunes 7.7.1 3. and rebooting your iphone after first two above! you can keep itunes 7.7.1, but don't install any apps on iphone from appstore AT ALL! then the iphone will work just fine! or you can do what i did: i downgraded itunes to 7.7, erased all the data and setting from the iphone, plugged it in and setted up as new phone! EVERYTHING works now! even after rebooting iphone - no problems. how to downgrade itunes on MAC: 1) went into the phone and do a reset and erase 2) deleted the following support files on MAC: System/Library/Extensions/AppleMobileDevice.kext /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/DeviceLink.framework /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/MobileDevice.framework /Library/Receipts/AppleMobileDeviceSupport.pkg /Library/Receipts/iTunesAccess.pkg /Library/Receipts/iTunesX.pkg (user)/Library/iTunes/Device Suport (the entire folder) 3) deleted the itunes app itself. 4) restarted computer 5) emptied trash 6) installed iTunes 7.7 7) attached iphone and when prompted to set up the phone, i forced the phone into DFU mode (not recovery mode - slightly different) 8) allowed phone to restore to 2.0.1 (this may take a loooooong time). 9) set up phone as a new phone. down with the backups! 10) installed some apps, and some music. and, once again, so far so good. |
