I don't think that will work mate. To the best of my knowledge, even if we could do that it would still be locked to a single carrier. I.e. There is more than likely some legal issues even if it was an option.
At least I can post on the forum, even if it's just an expensive iPod

NIzzle, from what Utel says, it wouldn`t be locked on a single carrier .. as it would lead to an unlock !

Hi dev team,

I have a question. According to dev team member MuscleNerd, 3G 01.45 versions have the brightest possibility of hacking before christmas. Now i got 02.11.07 version. and i never updated to 2.2. so could you tell me if there is a possibility of 02.11.07 version unlock by early 2009?

I was reading a report this morning that some Israeli hackers did find the software unlock. Yet, dono how much it is accurate or how much it is working. So waiting for more feedback!

That`s probably on 2G. 3G weren`t released for more than 1 year ( might be even 6 months or less ).

was reading iclarified this morning. they say dev team is bringing unlock of 01.45 bb couple days after christmas. i guess its going to be after the boxing day. and 02.11.07 bb is also near hacking success. i m so happy.
