They're not updating until they have something to say. I don't think we can get them to answer if they don't have any relevant updates.

Do you read their blog? They had an interesting blog update last weekend regarding the baseband.

Well, I'm not a programmer either, but it's always nice to read updates from the dev team.

I second this, indeed hope someone can explain a bit about this exploit. Not all members are programmers, but it seems it is a way up closer to the unlock, so keep it up guys we are counting on u!

Default Supposition on the way of success??!!!

Hey guys,

I was thinking and here's how far i got.

1- iPhone 2G's are hack-able.
2- iPhone 2G's are hack-able,and iPhone 2G's run 1.xxxx firmware.
3- iPhone 3G's are not hack-able.
4- iPhone 3G's are not hack-able,and iPhone 3G's run 2.xxxx firmware.
5- An unlocked iPhone stays unlocked whether or not you change the firmware.

So here's what i think might help,i know it might sound stupid but please bare with it...Goes something like this:

1- We put 1.xxxx firmware on iPhone 3G(that should be easier than unlocking, right?)
2- We unlock the 1.xxxx firmware on the iPhone 3G with the old unlocking tools.
3- Since an unlocked iPhone stays unlocked forever, then. We restore/update the firmware to whichever we want.
4- You got yourself an unlocked iPhone 3G.

Tell me what you think, and if you have nothing good to say, don't waste your time(and ours) making fun of this...

Hope i helped...
