Default [MBP UNIBODY][NETWORK] Cannot connect to wireless router

I have a macbook pro unibody [LATE OCT. 2008] EDITION. i recently updated my OSX to 10.5.8 from the software update and have lost connection to my wireless router. I thought it was my router that was at fault but my Vaio connects to the router fine wirelessly. I can however connect with ethernet cable but airport doesn;t connect to my router wirelessly. Is this an update issue? any solutions??

please help

hmm, have you tried changing the router's channel to make sure that there isn't any interference?

If you are still having this problem then I would suggest turning off airport then going into advanced settings in network prefs, delete your wifi network from here. After this open your keychain (apps/utilities/keychain access) find your network in here and delete it.

Reboot, and try to reconnect.

Hope this helps you buddy.
