Default Powerbook G4 issues

Hi everyone,

I just got my powerbook about a week ago and some strange problems have showed up. While its running and I happen to tilt the display sometimes the bottom half of the screen turns into a garbled mess. Also I discovered that if I don't boot the computer for about a day that the keyboard will act up, and the layout will change (such as delete becoming volume up and E's becoming backslashes etc.). They're not severe problems yet but I'm afraid they might become severe.

If you have any suggestions, thanks muchly!

Powerbook G4 (Hi-Res)
15" LCD
1.67ghz
80gb HD
2gb RAM
ATI 9700
