Multiple display for MBP

Does anyone have any suggestions or experience with multidisplay setups using a MacBook Pro? Are there better alternatives than Matrox, or is this it?

I have 3 external monitors hooked up to my Macbook Pro 17", 2 via DisplayLink USB Cards from Sewell and the third via my Mini-DisplayPort -> DVI Adapter.

I looked at some other solutions, however the DisplayLink cards were significantly cheaper than the other alternatives that I had found from Matrox.

Thanks Adrian. How do you like the set-up with the Sewell cards? Does OSX perceive the external monitors as independent screens or as 1 large display?
