Exclamation Can i get the new MacBook Pro for this reason

Okay, I would really like to get the new MacBook Pro, currently I have the late 2008 15 inch model, with the Nvidia 8600GM T GPU in it, i know that there have been a lot of issues with this GPU, and i think i may have been expierencing them, but they didnt really bother me til i found out that i might be able to get a new one

Anyways, sometimes when i turn my macbook on theres like, well what looks like tiny little spot lights at the bottom that shine up, its bright on some parts and other parts are dark. This happens every once in a while. But more so, the color sometimes turns a very dull brownish color on screen, and it wont change unti i restart the macbook.

If i take this into the Apple store, are my going to have to show them my macbook do what im describing above, because i really dont think i will be able to make it do this "on demand".

Also, if they replace it, are they going to give me the new model?

Thanks!

Update! After calling apple, going to the apple store, and calling apple again, they are sending me a new unibody macbook pro.

Apples support is awesome.
