Hi,

I want to create a minimal macosx installation on a small media like USB key or CD, like the live usb linux distrib.
I don't want a gui, I only need all the BSD sub system and the drivers (more or less).
Where should I begin ?
I can compile the kernel and the what to do ?

that is a tricky task...

if you have an original DVD (or even better, an original CD), you can take a look to its System folder which, in a sense, is minimal...
if not, it is really hard to explain

but if so, do not forget to copy also the hidden folders (like bin, etc)

you will have also to boot as "single user"; for, take a look to the respective rc file and name it correctly...
