System serial number modification
Has anybody an idea how to do this?
(One can change it by replacement of the logic board, then using an internal apple program called BBS, blank board serializer but that's not what I mean) Any ideas how and where the serial number is located?(in recent macs, I'm not talking about the old with serials on hdd's) Even hdd formatting, pram flashing and the removal of the clock battery did't erase it, what else can be done?

I think this is hard written. Any specific reason for changing it?

|
If you want to fool a program to think you have a different serial number, you could write an input manager plugin that replaces the function that retreives the serial to return a different one. This way all/most programs would think you have anohter serial.
