If you want to backup you can press "T" during startup, after which the Mac enters "Target Disk Mode"; then you should connect it with Firewire to another Mac to back it up/clone the hard drive. How to use FireWire target disk mode

I do just as you told me about using disk utility, and I'm trying "Repair Disk Permissions" and "Repair Disk".
It's hard to tell you that, non of them fix the problem! I'm so sorry for disturbing you ![]() EDIT: When "Repair Disk Permissions" was done, this warning show up in details box: Warning: SUID file has been modified and will not be repaired. Is this have any relation to my problem in a way or another? Or it's just normal thing? Thank you again and again ![]() Wikinerd.. It's MacBook 2.4 unibody, it doesn't have a FireWire!
