Having Trouble
My cousin took my phone for a day, and plugged it into his mac and of the course the update pops up, so he updates my phone. So I don't know what firmware it is on, and I'm trying to jailbreak/unlock/activate it. I used PwnageTool 3.0 so far using the 1G 3.0 firmware and it kinda worked, I can receive calls and see text messages but i can't do anything else. Its just slide for emergency. Here's what it looks like.
 and iTunes says it cannot recognize my SIM card. I've jailbroke and unlocked my phone before but I am confused about this firmware, can anyone help please?

It seems you have a problem with activation.
The 2G iPhone requires activation each time you switch the SIM card. This can be bypassed by enabling hacktivation in pwnage tool. I think you must have left this option off. Make a new custom IPSW with unlock off, activation on and restore with that.
