[Solved] [Bootneuter] [PwnageTool] [2g] Baseband bricked? Help needed
Hi,
i tried to restore an pwned 1.1.4 2G iphone to Firmware 3.1 with pwnagetool 3.1.
Bootneuter gives an error and says that i have to restore again. After booting,
there is no signal, wifi, imei. I think the Baseband is corrupt.
The Status Bar says: searching...
The Message: "Restore needed" Pops up after a while.
I tried now the following things:
- downgrade with a unmodified 1.1.4 firmware
Macbook Air:
Itunes 7.5 gives me error 1600 when it try to restore to 1.1.4 (DFU)
Itunes 7.7 the same
in Recovery Mode Itunes dont recognize the Iphone only in DFU.
But there is no Way to downgrade.
Imac G5:
I get the 23 Error in Itunes 9 when i try to restore.
But iTunes see the Phone in DFU & Recovery Mode.
On a Windows Vista Notebook:
I tried Itunes 7.5 / 7.7. When i go to DFU, iTunes gives a Message that the
Iphone needs to restore. But there ist no Restore button available.
Have you some ideas to downgrade / fix the phone??
Thanks for help
Edit:
I mandaged to get this iphone work.
- I done a clean install of iTunes 8.2 on a Windows Vista Notebook
- I downgraded to an out of Stock 1.1.4 firmware in DFU Mode
- no errors from Itunes
- after downgrading the phone was locked and not activated
- upgraded to an unmodified 2.2.1
- then i run quickpwn
The phone has now the 04.05.04_G Baseband and is on 2.2.1.
Call and Wifi works.
