can Pwnage Tool jailbreak 3.0.1

Can i use Pwnage Tool to jailbreak 3.01? or am I locked into using Redsn0w?

The only issue i have w/ Redsn0w is that there is no way to creat a custom fw.

You must use redsn0w.
