Iphone Ist Gen updated to version 3 with pwnage tool
Just update a fist gen 2g Iphone with custom firmware version 3 generated from pwnage tool and there was no need to install utrasn0w. I just updated it and voila the signals were just there. there simply wasnt any need to install ultrasn0w. Is it a special case or is it thew same with everyone?
just curious to know

ultrasn0w is only needed for 3G phones, 2G phones require only pwnagetool or redsnow (formerly known as quickpwn) - also check out
