Default No incoming calls with MobileMe

I have an iPhone 2G with 3.0, and I noticed that I cannot receive calls when the iPhone is sleeping and my MobileMe account is set up.

I tried setting my MobileMe account directly on the iPhone or using iTunes, and had the same results every time. I had to delete the account and reboot to receive calls again.

Anyone else having this issue or have any idea how to fix it? Thanks.

I have had the dreaded "ring issue" since firmware 1.x (phone doesn't ring when sleeping). There was a fix for it which involved changing a file in the power preferences (using WinSCP and all that).

That worked... until 3.0. But now the phone simply doesn't get the call period! Sleep or no sleep, it doesn't ring and sends the call straight to voicemail. None of the old tricks work and I don't know what to do. If you find a fix, please let me know...

(In the mean time I guess I'll try going back to 2.x, hoping that it will go back to the OLD crappy version which is better than the new REALLY CRAPPY version. )

Thanks so much, seems like this did the trick! But... does this mean I can't have push anymore, ever? Is there a fix to it or is "don't use push" the entire fix? Maybe when you have this issue you need to get your phone replaced I guess...

Also, do you know if this affects the general push features that will be coming to apps for notifications?
