Best bet is to go into DFU, downgrade to 1.1.4 so as to start from scratch.
Good guide: http://sleepers.net/news/guides/20-to-114-downgrade/ Make sure you downgrade your Baseband, because the error you are getting is because you are running a locked Baseband. Once downgraded start again with the PwnageTool or WinPwn and pwn your device. Install your custom 1.1.4 ipsw that you created that is set to Neuter the Baseband and Unlock it. These past steps make sure you wont get an error when updating to 2.0 and allow you to double check that your baseband has indeed been downgraded and unlocked. Once this is done, you should have an operating 1.1.4 ready to install a Pwned 2.0 ipsw. When creating your 2.0 ipsw, unless you feel the need to use the expert mode, I'd recommend you go through the simple mode so as to make sure Bootneuter runs properly at startup. Install your custom 2.0 ipsw and you should be home free.... Last edited by jfmsam; 07-26-2008 at 09:56 AM. |
