Everyone was so helpful last time... So, I need a little help again. I am pretty sure there is a really easy way to do this and just wanted to get a rundown on the best possible way... I have firmware 1.1.4 installed with pwnage running on my iphone at this moment... I have installed everything and set it up exactly as I want it for future use. Obviously with my new found iphone glory everyone is extremely jealous of the incredible changes I can make thanks to the hacking community.
So, I have a friend who would like me to install an exact replica of the programs, games, and tweaks I have running on my iphone. Could somebody point me in the right direction to the simplest way to perform this task. He has a 1.1.4 updated default firmware from apple. I guess basicaly how to I create an exact replica of my firmware or can I? |

There is a relatively new app called Time Capsule. You can backup certain things but not 3rd party apps...

The 3rd party applications settings and datas are placed in /var/mobile/Library/ - so with the most apps you can backup the /Applications/ and /var/mobile/Library/ then you would have the same apps with same prefs.
NOTE: some apps may have placed plist files elsewhere. But the standard and simple apps should be backup-able. But last time i used TimeCapsule to back up most of my prefs and then duplicated the /var/mobile/Library/TimeCapsule/ folder to my HDD, and replaced afterwards. |
