I have kalyway 5.4 on my Dell inspiron 1300 laptop and sometimes it boots up to leopard, and sometimes it doesn't(it just gets stuck at the blue screen)Can anyone explain this? leopard is the only OS on my hard drive.

O.k, I've found something kind of.... Odd. If I put in a Mac disk(Haven't tried any random disk yet, but it doesn't even need to be the same as what I installed, I put in a Jas OSX disk when I installed Kalyway and it still worked)It seems to boot up, though I'm not positive if this is what is allowing it to boot. I've also noticed if I removed the disk, it will be able to reboot just once, if I try it a 2nd time with no disk I get the blue screen. This to me seems very very odd.

Seems like this a Video Issue, whats your Graphic Card?

Thanks for the reply, and yes thats what it seems to be, but it's odd that it only happens sometimes..... Anyway the graphics on it is:
Intel integrated Media Accelerator 900 graphics card
And Ive run across another problem as well, If I close the lid, nothing happens, and when I open it the screen is blank and I have to restart it via the power button, I've tried using InsomniaX and it didn't work.

Google for "GMA 900 leopard" and you'll get all the info you need, this is a trouble one so you have to read alot

But it didn't seem to work, I put the files in my extensions folder then did the terminal junk, but I couldn't find an extensions.mkext to delete, so I just restarted but the problem was still there(the blue screen). Did I do something wrong?
