Hi Everyone,

I'm new here and I searched through as many threads as possible, but I did not see anything regarding updating the Jas OS X release from 10.5.4 to 10.5.5.

I Tried the Software update from Apple once and it was stuck in an endless Restart Computer loop. So, after many more hours of research and installation roadblocks, I have finally gotten most of my HP Pavillion m8125x hardware to work. I don't want to lose my foothold on what I've got so far so I need some help.

Should I upgrade and how should I go about upgrading OS X to 10.5.5?

Does anyone know if I can just buy MAC software and install like it was a MAC without any patching? I was thinking about getting iWorks.
