Hi.

Just installed this, changed HDD thing to ACHI or whatever it is called so OS X could actually see the HDD's.

Anyway all installed fine, then it came to restart, loaded onto white apple screen, and it just stayed there, not even a moving cursor.

Any ideas? Any commands I could try to solve this problem?

ATi Radeon 4870 512mb
WDC 320GB SATA 2
WDC 640GB SATA 2

Got no error, just went no further than:

Using 16384 buffer heads and 4096 cluster IO buffer heads.

Hiya there, looks like you have to mod your BIOS to get it working properly, also you have to enable SATA AHCI Support in the BIOS, Good Luck

I am getting the same problem on my Laptop (IBM ThinkPad R51)

Does not look like I'll get it to work , cant try that P5Q-E modded bios on that site as its far far far far far far far far too old!!, I send a message asking for the 1406 bios to be modded but don't know if he'll do it.
