I just remembered to try an old 10.4.3 ToH DVD, and that one boots successfully.

I wonder why none of the Leopard releases does.

Maybe is your hardware, or BAD ISO

I have tried many different releases, it shouldn't be of the iso.
It is definitely something with the hardware, no idea what.


Any other P4 guy with the same problem?

I managed to install a TOH Leopard RC2 release with -x -f -v.

I needed to remove all the geforce*.bundle and nvdhal*.kext files from System/Library/Extensions, otherwise the system would restart, so the restart problem shall be something with my nvidia graphics card.

However, I get a kernel panic when booting after install.
I also find no System/Library/extensions folder in the ideneb dvd and it still restartes when first booting the dvd for installation. Leo4All and Kalyway also reboot.

Any help?
