finally managed to install 10.5.2 kalyway, with ci/qe,

on the customise screen on the leopard install, i chose the 756mb driver for my nvidia 8600gt 1024ddr2,

on the boot a blue then black screen comes up, the system is still ticking over, so what i did was to swap my dvi cable and use a vga cable, and presto job was done!!!!

thanks to everyone who has helped!!!!

next question is do i really need leopard to recognise my card at 1024mb?? and will i see any kind of performance decrease if i use the VGA cable??
