Hello, Ive been reading up on Hackint0sh, and i want to try and get Leo installed on to my Spare HDD. I can see it works with Intel, but what about AMD??? Here are my spec.

Biostar K8M800-M7A
Via Chipset
AMD Athlon 64 2.4GHz
Realteck AC97' Audio
Coarsair 1gb Ram
300GB Seagate HDD

i have a copy of Leo 10.5 and i read somewhere that i need patch something???? thnx for any help.

Hiya there valir, you have to try~ when you the installation format as Extended Journaled and apply the patch in the customize windows before press install. Try a kernel like modbin or speedstep + AMD Patch, good luck

Can you give me directions as to what i need to do first???? Im slightly confused on it....

do i find speedstep burn it to a disk? same with the AMD Patch?

I told you, in the installation you'll see that

- Boot into the DVD and once you get darwin press F8 and type:
- Select your Language
- Use Disk Utility from the Utilities menu. In Disk Utility, Select your Partition, and format you should choose Mac OS Extended (Journaled). After partitioning, quit Disk Utility to return to the Leopard Installer.

Then Customize

Leo4Allv3 was all I could get working on my AMD 4600+ system. However, now from what I have learned it may have been the NVinject files stopping my 10.5.5 from booting.

im not sure what im doing wrong... but when i goto load Leo or tiger even, it will load up and i can select my language, but after that, it stays stuck at a blue screen.... And i even tryed the pre-configed Leo and it will show the apple with the cirle and a line through it, and show a loading icon and thats it..... could it be, my cpu isnt compatable?

uhh i dont understand

Nvm I got confused :/ man via chipset, I dunno if they really work :/ if you can try with leo4all v4 is for AMD system only or another distro.

Whats your video card btw?
