so. let's start.
You can connect an USB keyboard just for config?
OR
You can connect through remote desktop?
OR
1. Download the PS2Keyboard file above,
2. Decompress the file
3. Put the decompressed files on the root of a pendrive using Windows [or whatever system you want. the important is the pendrive filesystem to be FAT or HFS].
4. Boot install disk
5. Enter terminal type this:

Code:

cd /System/Library/Extensions
cp -R *PS2*.* /Volumes/THE_VOLUME_OF_YOU_INSTALLED_THE_SYSTEM/System/Library/Extensions
cd /Volumes/THE_VOLUME_OF_YOU_INSTALLED_THE_SYSTEM/System/Library/Extensions
chown -R root:wheel *
chmod -R 755 *
reboot

Ok, it will reboot, if you dont get keyb and mouse:
the following:
6. Boot install disk again, go to terminal. Type:

Code:

cd /Volumes/NAME_OF_THE_PENDRIVE_VOLUME/
cp -R *PS2*.* /Volumes/THE_VOLUME_OF_YOU_INSTALLED_THE_SYSTEM/System/Library/Extensions
chown -R root:wheel *
chmod -R 755 *
reboot

see if it works

Thanks, but I just went out and bought a new PS/2 mouse.
Everything is fine, and my install works.
Just one small problem, I can't change my resolution, it's stuck at 1024x768. My native res. is 1440x900, and my video card is ATi Radeon x1550/x1300 series.

Thanks, but how do I do this part?

If you dont have Quartz Extreme or Core Image:

Edit the ATIRadeonX1000.kext to have your Device-ID included.
(IOPCIMATCH in the info.plist is what your looking for)

1- Go to System Profiler

- Click on Graphics/Displays check your 'Device ID' in my case is 0402 (I have a 8600GT)

2- Now go to /Systems/Library/Extensions, with TextEdit open ATINDRV.kext

3- Now your going to modify the kext:

- Find this string IOPCIMatch an change this line 0x71C21002
(replace 71C2 for your Device ID)

4- Open Terminal:

sudo rm /System/Library/Extensions.mkext

sudo rm /System/Library/Extentions.kext.cache

sudo kextcache -k /System/Library/Extensions

sudo diskutil repairpermissions

5º) Reboot and thats it

Ok, thanks, I'll follow this, but do I do this before or after the install file you gave me for ATi Drivers?
And what options do I pick in the installer?
