How are you guys installing the ALC888 driver? I am simply downloading it and installing it. It's not working. Do I need to change anything in the system files? I know I have a Realtek 888s so the ALC888 driver should be working.

Aw Sowwy drew630, I didnt try unplug my audigy to try ALC888S again and to add the rite kext, but so far I know it works, try this one: ALC888 HDA

Haha, it only took me two weeks too.

Where did you find that driver? I have tried just about all of them I think except that one.

Now my Hackintosh is completely working.

I dont remember @.o; what I do remember is... hmm... go to console and make sure your not getting some errors every 5 seconds

Nope, no errors shown in console.

i am new to Mac OS X. I want to install Lepoard on My Hp as well. i have Jas iDeneb,kalway,leo4all v3 but none of them seem to work. You have helped others to get theres work can you help mine work to please. My specs are almost smiliar to yours. You can find specs at here:

Hi Kisho and welcome to the forum, they wont work until you MOD your BIOS follow the tutorial in the 1st page and you'll be ok, I recommend you to install Leo4all v3, theres pics about what to do in the installation step by step, you have to try. I used Kext Helper b7 to install it so maybe that's why I don't see errors. Anyways, added my specs to sig.
