I just followed this: AnandTech - Realtek ALC888 and now I have a volume icon and I adjusted some settings and bam! I have sound.

Which kext patch did you install post-installation? Just for future reference I can't seem to see which one you selected on the first page.

Default Leopard on PC

Hi someone can help me? I have a little problem with running Mac OSX Leopard on my pc.

I succesfully installed iAtkos v5i on a new partition (Mac OSX journaled extended)
But after installation I can't boot into Leopard.
I've tried to boot into Leopard using the iAtkos dvd. command -s but all what happens is that the computer just restarts.
second I try dual boot using Easybcd 1.7
I restart computer and boot in Leopard. I get the grey screen and it stay forever.

What can the problem be?

Go to dual boot forum... or google it.

If you mean this: Audio: HERE (ALC888S), that URL is broken and installing that doesn't work for me.

I think the URL is broken. I click the link, click another link to start the download, and it re-directs me to this. =S
EDIT: Now it's just loading forever. I just found it on Google ;D

Anyways, regarding sleep, I applied the sleep patch and when I "sleep", I hear my external hard drive and the internal hard drive go to sleep, but the screen remains on, the LED remains blue and mouse movement wakes it! Is there a way so when I put the PC to sleep it shuts off my screen, makes the power button's LED turn orange like Windows and Linux, and disable waking from a mouse movement?

Thanks.

Aw weird link @.o; I will try to fix it again, works for me tho... can be cache or something, about the sleep are you on 10.5.6? did you try pushing the power button once?

btw after installing the kext, do this: go to system preferences, then energy, then advance tab, and check both options, and try again... mine wake up with the mouse and keyboard @.@...

Whats your model again?

I had to go check the box. It's an HP Pavillion a6648f PC (could be part of the issue ). Yeah I'm on iDeneb v1.4 10.5.6. In Energy Saver I have a Sleep and Options tab. I probably need to find a different sleep for my model. Pressing power does nothing.
