ekit2007, check the link for video, install the latest version, in the package select the main install and efi studio, after installation efi should pop up add the string for the device to the boot with efi and reboot.
Download the pack kext in the post installation part, install them using kext helper or osx86 tools. The kext for sleep issues should work, at least in model works, after install them, go to system prefereces, then energy, go to advanced tab, then check both options there (if you updated to 10.5.6). Hope it help, good luck

Delete the kext that told you before, then repair permissions, I reupload the kext for audio... install them and you should be able to get audio now ;P

Thanks, but just want to know one more time, that I tried to install the driver link (latest 9f23) for video on that tutorial but apparently my resolution went bad, like only stuck at 1024 x 768 only. Can you please help me get a link that you may recommend or is this the right site? NVinstaller.com - Downloads How will I do this? Is there a tutorial on doing this based on your suggestion: "in the package select the main install and efi studio, after installation efi should pop up add the string for the device to the boot with efi and reboot" Should I disable the onboard Audio all the time in my bios too? Sorry for bothering you again, but thanks once again for making my IATKOS work after all these months I waited. And by the way, I will update to 10.5.6 then for the sleep problem. Thank you muchos! Your doing good but seems like you forgot to install efi studio, so download efi studio and open it, select display, then look for your video card with the match of memory, then click on "add device" a new windows will pop up, then click on "write to com.apple.Boot.plist" then reboot, and you should get full Support for video.
![]() You dont need to disable onboard audio on the BIOS... report back if it work for you, if it doesnt, I have a manual way to do it

Icchansan,
Tried that EFIstudio as how you instructed and did had it written into the boot.plist. Still my monitor turns blue after I turn it off then on, then I have to restart it manually (the desktop appears then disappears quickly). Is there another way to do it? Or do I have to reinstall iatkos all over again? Or make a fresh driver compatible? I hope not. My sound doesn't work too. Pls help. Thank you. Ekit2007 |
