Any idea why when I boot back into Vista, my clock is all out of wack. It's off by like three hours and I constantly have to re-sync it. I can live with it but it's a nuisance.

Not yet, I double checked the Codec, It's all correct, after Looking for answers it a commen Problem now with 10.5.6 having restart/shutdown issues with newer Bios.

I have a theory, If I can Find 1 Brave Sole to Try it out?
But it might Hose your system, Key word being might.

I'm going to Combo the 5.17 DSDT into the 5.32 to see if this Fix anything.
If your brave, let me know and I'll post it.

Though I do have 1 Question? What system are you running?
The HPET and RTC was fixed in the 5.32 bios for 10.5.6

Too risky for my blood, now I know why you call yourself "mac-NUT' ...LOL

I actually flashed back to v5.17 and sleep/shutdown work again. Unless there is a substantial benefit in updating the BIOS, why mess with it if it works? Thx for the effort though!

Im crazy like that... but cant test it... Im in south america, hard to buy a new motherboard xD, we have currency block :/

Anyway... we are using 10.5.6, I have a question macnut, I updated the BIOS using the MOD one, is that problem? should I use the original one and then update?

So far the only problem with v5.17 is the firewire... not to me, but for users like dray hus very active these days

Let me know if the original BIOS make a difference

If I don't log back in, it means I Bricked my system.
