Can you use software update to update to 10.5.6 straight away with having to mess around with scripts and what not? Im sure i saw it in this thread somewhere. I'm using iAtkos v5i which you recommended.
Also, which icon set are you using on the picture posted on the tutorial?, i like the disc icons

Yeah you can use software update without any problem, no scripts anymore... about the icons, I dont really remember which one I used, I download alot of them, usually these pages delete the links so.. :/ let me check anyway

Thanks for the new bios. Unfortunately it didn't do the job for my Pavilion m9480ch. I can still not shut down the computer when using OSX. The fan keeps on running. If I put it to sleep I cannot restart. However I can now shut it down again using Vista. That wasn't possible under 5.17.

Yeah this BIOS is weird... I hate u HP lol, my fans never run that fast before... I believe at this point I will post back the old version of the BIOS if anyone want it, and make a new tutorial with a new thread, this thing have 46 pages @.o

Soon a tutorial for Retail, and everybody go back to original BIOS without MOD, ;D

btw with this BIOS... Shutdown doesnt work, Restart Works, didnt test Sleep

I just successfully upgraded to 10.5.6 but my ps/2 keyboard and mouse arent working . Could you link to the ps/2 kext.

I've gone through the tutorial have just about everything working except i find that my wireless is super slow in osx?

anythoughts? in vista im about 7x as fast.

I have the same speed in all of them... actually in linux suks ;P
