Just saw that you have Aitkos v5 runnin smooth and planning on an updated guide tomorrow. Good timing on checkin out your forum seein how I was about to try the install myself and most likely mess it up and come asking you a ton of questions =P Can't wait to get up and running with 10.5.6

Done, I updated the tutorial, everything works, seems like twice fast, Im having Issues to sleep, but I will try to fix this soon as possible

Installed a couple apps and everything works, after update Audio wont work but I found new kext for it, you guys will found them in the post installation links, Wireless work, Shutdown and restart freaking fast @.@

Seems like mic works, I need a tester to try something, seems like we can install without AHCI, I mean we start with AHCI but post installation we can disable it, I really wanna try that, but dont wanna start again, until I found how to fix the sleep issue, so If someone wanna try please Private me and will send the instructions

Nope just go to software update and thats it, no script, no instructions, just the sleep issue and no audio after update, but seems like happens to everybody, so far nothing to fix it, there some ways, I tried 2 ways now, but no progress.

Update: Done! Found a solution for sleep, sleep damn fast too, wtf @.@ anyway kext in post installation

everything seemed to work perfect with install and lookin good =) only one issue....when I select about this mac it says Processor 2.67 GHz unknown instead of yours that shows the processor info etc....also how do you get that pirate flag info if ya could send me any necesarry files to do that would appreciate it =)

last but not least was just browsen through and see under firewire category nothing shows up? thought our m9250f came with built in firewire. Anywho thanks for help as always

I have updated the audio kexts from your post installation but I still do not have audio. I verified that they are in the extensions folder too. Everything else works great !

Weird, try this go to system preferences, sound, output and select your output, sometimes is in the 3rd one, try selecting the 1st one

Actually I believe mic works now @.o; at least it seems like it works there, but dunno apps to rec... I will test

Yeh, happens to me the 1st time, but the second time didn't happen, its weird XD.

Its Called CHUD, you can find it in XCODE packs, google it, is in the retail disc too
