Post [iATKOS Support] Problem installing iATKOS v2.0i
Hi,
I have downloaded and burned iATKOS v2.0i and i pressed F8 then i typed -V

then i hit enter, i went through the black screen, after a while i got that message:

it repeats almost 8 times as shown, after that it puts me through a very very fast scrolling down words, that i couldnt even catch to read, and it stucks at this point for as long as i leave it, i need help please.. replys will be highly appreciated thanks lot!

#1 - Maybe your .iso is damaged;

#2 - Try re-burn using PowerISO on Windows side, on 2x-4x velocity, don't use a DVD_RW blank dvd's;

#3 - If #1 and #2 don't work, download some other iso like a Leo4All V3.

Dear,

It may not the problem of iso damage, I face the problem of it by using "Leo4all v3"

1. When I try to install by "Leo4all v3", but after after finished and found boot error "Still waiting for the root .....".

2. I try to use external DVD room, but during boot up and found this problem

I have this errors SAM Multimedia: READ or WRITE failed, SENSE_REY=0x06, ASC=0x29, ASC=0x29, ASCQ=0x00 when using a bad quality DVD, or old DVD Drive.

Try looking this things

Otherwise, I don't know what to do.

Hi....
1. I use another media (iATOKS) at external DVD drive with boot ok.
2. Media "Leo4all v3" are ok to boot by internal DVD drive.

Base on above, Media & External Drive seem ok.

Anyway I have the following problem for installing by "TOHleox86"... install successfuly, but it need the DVD disk to boot up, can not boot up by it self.

seem the boot loader missing or error, Can U help ?

In ToH fix it using:

Boot ToH DVD, open Utilities/Terminal and type:

Code:
cd /
cd usr
cd misc
sh script.sh LEO_HDD
Where LEO_HDD is name from your HDD

Run script.sh for two times.

Reboot and see it work.

I will try this .....

by the way I'am almost fain for installing osx86 by using many media!
eventhough I clear the boot problem, but still alot of probelm have to
fix it ..... laptop keyboard / wifi / etc .......

oh yes im using DVD-RW, maybe this is the problem then, i will do what you said and get back with the results!
