After trying to update to 10.4.10 I get this error on boot. I tried rolling back to 10.4.9 (uphuck) and then 10.4.8 (JAS), but with same results. My system is a bad axe 2 with c2d e6700 and x1950xt

Hello,
tomorrow i had the same problem! No boot after Update to 10.4.10. the problem is if you use the ACPICPUThrottler. Here a solution which works for me: You have to overclock your cpu fore some Mhz, then the ACPICPUThrottler cannot start and give an eroor message, and sou you can start your hackintosch and remove this tool! I hope i helped somebody who have this problem! sry for my bad english! |

i got this error before and i wat i did was using transmac soft from windows to add two files (appleacpiplatform...+ioacpi.... i dont remember the full names sorry - there is only two files that says acpi in its name anyways...) from my another installation of 10.4.6 to /system/library/extensions/
but if u use uphuck dvd (1.3) to install choose the acpi section somewhere in patch part i think... it should install the acpi drivers... next u should be able to pass that screen, but i dont guarantee it will work just worked for me for the same error (bcoz error indicates that the acpi driver is missing so i give my system the acpi drivers thats it...) |
